Sukiyaki Western Django Official US Trailer

Eli Roth said about Japanese Director Takashi Miike that his films are punck rock and that he is a true visionary and does things that few other directors would dare. I can but agree! His latest movie, Sukiyaki Western Django, is an amazing mix of samurai swords and guns.

Last but not least Sukiyaki Western Django is starring Quentin Tarantino!

Here below the US official trailer of Sukiyaki Western Django:

From the brilliant mind of Takashi Miike,

SUKIYAKI WESTERN DJANGO

There may be some cheesy talk in this spaghetti western but the graphical input of martial arts choreography makes the movie really explosive.

Sukiyaki Western Django Japanese Trailer

You have probabably heard about Spaghetti Western made by Italian production companies in the 1960's. But do you know about Noodle Western? The Western genre had its influence in Asia. And local Asian western movies have been made since a long.

Japanese film director Takashi Miike brings the genre back to life with his latest movie Sukiyaki Western: Django. The English language Western is inspired by Sergio Corbucci's "Spaghetti Western" Django, as well as the legions of copycats and ripoffs.

Sukiyaki Western Django is starring Hideaki Ito, Masanobu Ando, Shun Oguri and guess who: Quentin Tarantino himself!

The movie should be released at the end of August 2008 in the USA.

Here below the official trailer of Sukiyaki Western Django:

Plot:
"Set a few hundred years after the Genpei War, the Minamoto and Taira gangs face off in a town named Yuta, while a deadly gunman comes to the aid of the townsfolk." (Source: Wikipedia)

This blend of western and samurai traditions is awesome! Director Takashi Miike has done an incredible work. Even more incredible when you think that he does not speak English but decided anyway that the Japanese cast would have to speak English in order to celebrate the origins of the movie genre.

Well, if you are not fan of western movies pass your way. But if you enjoy them then you'll be happy with Sukiyaki Western Django.
